The story of Flagstaff
Flagstaff is a lively mountain town in northern Arizona, surrounded by ponderosa pine forests and framed by the San Francisco Peaks. Its historic downtown reflects the city’s Route 66 and railroad heritage, while nearby attractions include Walnut Canyon, Sunset Crater, and the ancient pueblos of Wupatki. Flagstaff is also a convenient gateway to the Grand Canyon and is known for its clear night skies. This is a nice stopping point between Santa Fe and Las Vegas.
