From the journey

Before the first mile

I'm starting my road trip today from Sacramento. I will be gone for 24 days but I do know that I will be glad to get back to see my grandkids. My hope is that when I return, I’ll feel refreshed, have some new experiences to talk about, carry an even deeper appreciation for the life Michelle and I shared and feel a little more at peace with the road ahead.
