The story of Twin Falls
Twin Falls occupies the rim of the dramatic Snake River Canyon in southern Idaho’s fertile Magic Valley. The city’s best-known landmark is the Perrine Bridge, which spans the canyon nearly 500 feet above the river and provides sweeping views of the surrounding landscape. Nearby Perrine Coulee drops almost 200 feet into the canyon, while Shoshone Falls—often called the “Niagara of the West”—stands 212 feet high. Twin Falls combines a comfortable Western city with a landscape shaped by basalt cliffs, waterfalls, irrigation and the Snake River.
